(612) 788-9221 :E IS bUR, BUSINESS' RESOLUTION 78- 70 ADJUST 1978 BUDGET TO PROJECTED ANNUAL AS RECORDED IN 1979 BUDGET DOCUMENT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights has reviewed projected annual 1978 expenses in conjunction with the 1979 Budget, and WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has reviewed each General Fund object classification after passing of the bills approved by Council on December 11, 1978, and allowing for year-end accruals, and WHEREAS, several departments in total will approximate their app- roved 1978 Budget NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the following departmental budgets be increased or (decreased) with a balance to the General Fund Contingency: Mayor-Council $ 2,500 Finance-Clerk 2,500 Assessing 3,400 Elections 300 Legal (20,000) Planning (10,4OO) General Government Buildings (3,100) Police (13,2OO) Fire (7,500) Inspections 7,500 Animal Control (1,2OO) Engineering 12,300 Streets (19,500) Street Lighting (4,000) Traffic Signs (7,400) Tree Trim $ Dutch Elm (58,235) Refuse Collection (38,000) Parks 9,800 Insurance (13,O00) Increase Contingency $ 157,235 Bruce G, Nawrocki, Mayor E. Hentges, Councilrnernber EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER. -2- AND, the City's 1978 share for Funding the Recreation Fund be transferred from the General Fund to Fund 205 in the amount of $67,850.
