HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 78-38CITY OF CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS 590 40th Ave. (612) 788-9221 "SERVICE IS OUR BUSINESS" RESOLUTION 78-38 BEING A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SALARY AND FRINGE BENEFITS SCHEDULE FOR POLICE PATROL OFFICERS FOR 1978 BE tT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, that WHEREAS, negotiations have proceeded between Local 320 Teamsters representing Police Officers of the City of Columbia Heights and the City Council's labor consul- tant and management bargaining team, and said negotia- tions have resulted in the mutually acceptable contract, and WHEREAS, a copy of said contract is available for inspec- tion at the office of the City Clerk and is made a part hereof by reference, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the contract as neg- otiated be and is hereby established as the salary and fringe benefit program for 1978 for police officers of the City of Columbia Heights represented by Local 320 upon signing of the contract documents by both union and City representatives. BE 1T FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager mre hereby authorized to execute this contract agreement. BE IT ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED that the reading in full of the actual contract be, and it is hereby, waived. Passed this llth day of September, 1978. Seconded by: Norberg Roll Call: All Ayes Bruce G.
