"SERVICE IS OUR BUSINESS" RESOLUTION 78-6 REGARDING A LABOR CONTRACT EXTENSION BETWEEN THE CITY AND LOCAL 49 - OPERATING ENGINEERS WHEREAS, the Bargaining Committee of the Metropolitan Area Management Association has been involved in negotiations with Local 49, and WHEREAS, an agreement has been made to modify and extend the present contract, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following changes are approved: 1978 1979 Light Equipment Operators $7.05 per hour $7.50 per hour Heavy Equipment Operators $7.50 per hour $7.95 per hour The employer will contribute up to a maximum of $65 per month for calendar year 1978 and $72 per month for calendar year 1979 for group health and life insurance, including dependent coverage, Additional insurance cannot be covered at employer expense in lieu of dependent coverage. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign the contract document to cover these changes. Passed this 27th day of February, 1978.
