HENFGES, COUNCILMAN "SERVICE IS ()UR BUSINESS" RESOLUTION # 77-3] ADOPTING A HOUSING ASSISTANCE PLAN FOR THE CItY OF COI.b?&3IA I~EREAS, the City of Columbia Heights recognizes that prcseyvati,n and expansion of its housing stock to meet the needs of low and moderate income citizens of the co~mmunity is a goal of primary importance and, ~IStEREAS, the Housing Assistance Plan is a r~ecessary co~rpon~;x~t of the full application for Cormmunity Development Block Grant f~ds, and, }~qEF~JAS, the CSty Council has reviewed the plsn which wss d~,,ve!oped ~nder the Department of Housing and Urban Development and Met?~opolitaK Coumcil guidelines, and fou~d its content to be consistent with the housing goals of this commrmity and , }gHEREAS, the City Council has duly held a public ]~eari'i'~g on the HousJ~g Assistance Plan on June 6, 1977. This Housing Assistsnce Plan be adopted by the City Heights ~ ~, o ~e plan be tr~msmitted as part of the full appJicstJon for Conmm~ity Development BJock Grant Funds to the State P!a~'ming Agency, }~etropolitan Cotmcit and Department of Housing and Urban Development for their review and consideration.
