James Arthur McCallum, active
for years in Citizens Band radio,
was 76 when he died 'Monday.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. to-
morro~v at Miller Funeral Chapel,
831 40th Av. NE. Visitation was
scheduled from 4 to 9 p.m. today
and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to-
morrow.
McCal!um, 3926 NE. 2nd St., had
been a 27-year member of the
Columbia Heights Fire Department
before he'retired in 1949. He was
a member of CB United and an
honorary ti~e member of the Diesel
Drivers Inte~:national Association.
He is survived by three sons,
Richard Homicke of Cotumbia
Height~; Roberl; Homicke of Chi-
cago and Thomas McCallum of
Minneapolis; t~vo daughters, Mrs.
Phyllis Williams of Columbia
Heights and Marjorie Windhauser
of New Brighton; 19 grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
