BE IT HE?~BY P~SOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights
that:
g~.iEtLEAS, the Anoka County District Court has determined on November 13,
i97.5 that the .City's use of certein property A~ithin its corporate limits,
commonly described as the Sullivan Lake area, constituted a taking of
said property, and
g=H'EREAS, the said District Court has eDtered a money ~udg~ent against the
said City on November 13, !975~ and
~HEP~AS, the City recognizes that a special ie>~ is pe~.~missib!e to satisfy
judgments against it rendered by a court of competent jurisdiction,
NO, F, ?HEkEFORX, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Coi~n~ia
HeighCs that the total le~¢ for tax purposes as adopted on September 25~
1975 be and herein is increased and amended to add a total of $ I00,000 O0
to the $1,329,510.00 previously indicated as the amount to be levied by
virtue of Resolution #75-50 dated Septe:~er 25,i975. Said increase shall
be used for the purpose of satisfying the judgnnent referred to herein.
