HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 75-04CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES EQUAL OPPORTUN/TY EMPLOYER · COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA 55421 RESOLUTION #75-4 REGARDING SALARIES FOR ]975 FOR NON-UNION PERSONNEL BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS that, WHEREAS, Extensive work has been done on a position classification and pay plan for the municipal service of Columbia Heights, and WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to adopt said plan in 1975, setting up a personnel evaluation system on anniversary dates of all affected employees, recognizing merit considerations thereby, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to make salary adjustments as of January I to give some general increases prior to the initial review system, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the fo]lowing monthly salaries be established effective January 1, 1975 for the City employees listed herein, with their salary range as listed. Said employees shall also be granted $15 per month toward their dependent hospitalization coverage, in addition to the individual hospit- alization coverage at $19.04 per month and life insurance at $1.80 per month presently granted. Said adjustments would occur on the next full pay period after their anniver- sary date. For those whose salary exceeds the top step after the danuary 1 adjustment is made, there will not be a further change during calendar year 1975. Passed this 27th day of January, 1975.
