SETTING 1919~LIQUOR STORE EMPLOYEE SALARIES
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, that the
following changes in salaries as negotiated be effective retroactive to January 1,
1974 for the Municipal Liquor Stores. (Hospitalization is for single coverage)
1. Liquor Store Manager to receive $13,300 plus hospitalization. Assistant Store
Manager to receive $13,000 plus hospitalization.
Regular Bartenders to receive $4.55 per hour plus hospitalizCtion. Part-time
Bartenders to receive $4.35 per hour. New experienced Bartenders to be paid
25¢ per hour under scale for a 30 day probationary period. Bartender Trainees
to receive 25¢ per hour under scale for a slx month probationary period.
3. Regular Waitresses to receive $3.00 per hour plus hospitalization, with a $50.00
per year uniform allowance. Part-time Waitresses to receive $2.80 per hour.
All three (3) regular Off-Sale Clerks to receive $3.80 per hour, plus hospitalization.
Senior Part-Time Clerk (Store #3) to receive $3.65 per hour. Senior Part-Time
Clerk (Store #2) to receive $3.60 per hour. Part-time Off-sale Clerks to receive
$3.45 per hour. Off Sale Clerk Trainees to receive 10¢ per hour under scale for a
three month probationary period.
Regular Janitor to recelve $8,424 per year plus hospitalization. Part-time
Janitors to receive $3.25 per hour. Glass Washers to receive $2.90 per,ur.
Part-Time Custodians to receive $2.65 per hour.
6. All other fringe benefits as set forth to remain in effect for 1974.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the foregoing changes be effective in accordance with the
schedule as listed herein for the calendar year 1974.
