Recommending that the County Pakk on 49th Avenue
and Highland Lake In Columbia Heights be named
"Albert A. Kordlak, Anoka County Park"
WHEREAS, Albert A. Kordlak has served as a commissioner on the
Anoka County Board with great dlstinctlon and excellence and,
WtlEREAS, under hls dedication and guidance the present Anoka
County Park System has developed Into one of the finest park
systems In thls State, and,
WHEREAS, under his deep and genuine Interest In the concepts of
development, continuing improvements, the genera) well being and
achievement of high standards of this park;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLUMBIA !(EIGHTS, that
because of the commendable efforts of Mr. Kordlak, recognition
should be given to him by naming th~ ~resent County Park In
Columbia Heights the "Albert A. Kordlak, Ano?.a County Park".
BE IT FURT)(ER RESOLVED, that
a copy of this resolution be presented to the Anoka County
Board at Its next ragu)ar meeting.
