BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of The City of Columbia
Heights thai the following salary and fringe benefits be established
effective January 1, 1970, for the calendar year of 1970 for the
members of the Public Works Department not previously covered
by salary a~justments for 1970. The monthly salaries shall be:
Heavy equipment operators .... $778.00 per month
Sewer and water mainten~nce men 725.40 per month
The foregoing salaries do not include the individual hospitalization
premiums which ~hail be paid by the city.
It is understood that these salaries conform to the salaries
established for similar positions in the suburban metropolitan
area. Said salaries constitute the final proposal of the collective
bargaining committee to Local 664°
All ex|st)ng fringe benefits to continue in effect for 1970.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the foregoing schedule shall be made
effective upon acceptance tn writing by the empJoyees herein affected.
