HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 34-24BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Col~nbia Heights, that the tract of land hereinafter described be dedicated and opened as a ~blic street and thoro-fare, to a width of sixty i~,we six feet from McLeod Street to Reservoir Boulevard. Sa~d tract ~ lying and being in the County of Anoka, State of Ninne- sota specifically described as follows, to-wit: Opening and extension of 45th Avenue N. E. from McLeod Street to the North one-quarter (1/~) Section Corner of Section S6, Township SO, Range 24, (Columbia Heights, Mir_uesota.) more specifically described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Reservoir Hills Addition, according to the plat thereof now on file and of record in and for Anoka County, Minnesota, thence East along the North line of Section S8, Township ~0, Range 24, (according to the U. S. Government Survey thereof) a distance of S28.8S feet to the North 1/4 Section Corner thereof (on center line of Johnson Street, so-called) thence Southerly on the North and South center line of said Section S8, a distance of SS feet, thence Westerly to a point on the East line of NcLeod St., SS feet South of place of beginning thence North SS feet to place of beginning. Dear Sir: Your proposal for certain street openings on City of ~{inneaoo!is property was presented to the Tater Committee at its regular meeting held Oct.25th 1934. On ~btion it was agreed to dedicate 'all ~0r~tions requested except that oortion of 45 Av.N. between the center line of Johnson St. and the Reservoir Boulevard.
