Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights:-
WHEP~AS there are a number of places of refreshment in the
City of Columbia Heights licensed to sell non-intoxicating malt beverages,
which cater to both men and women,and which are not equipped with
proper and sufficient toilet facilities; and
WHEREAS the State Board of Health has w~ttmn to a number of
such places requestin~ that they provide additional toilet facilities as
soon as possible;and
WHEREAS it is the sense of this CounCil to cooperate with the
State Department of Health and to require all places licensed for the sale
of non intex~cating beverages to maintain s!~parate toilet rooms for the
accomodation of men and women guests;
NOW THERFORE be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Columbia Heights that all premises within the City of Columbia H~Ights
licensed to sell -intoxicating malt beverages"on sale~ and catering to both
men and women guests be reuired to maint&~u s~arate toilet factlttSes
for such guests.~T~t such facilities be properly ~equipped a~_d mmintained and
be kept neat and clean and sanitary. That the failure to furnish,equip and
maintain such £acilities shall be ground for the revocation of such license.
That such places of business which do not now have such facilities shall
provide them within the next ~ days. Failure to so do s~l be ground for
revocation of licemse.
