RESOLUTION
A Resolution directing Clerk to give notice of
call for bids for $7,000 Refunding Bonds.
After carefully con-
introduced the
Be it RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia
Heights, Anoka County, Ninnesota, that it is, in the Judgment of
this Council, advisable, expedient and necessary to issue the
Refunding Bonds ~ the City in the ~nount cf $7,000 for paying~a
Judgment, there not being sufficient moneys on hand in the treasury
of said City available for that purpose.
That this Council ~ill meet on the ~ ~ day of July, 1930, at
8:00 o'clock, 2. M. at the High School Building in said City to
receive and consider bids for such bonds. That said bonds 'bear
interest at not to exceed 6% per annum, payable seni-annually, be
dated July 1st, 1930, and mature serially $1000 on July 1st in
1939
each of the years from 1933 to/~, both inclusive.
That the Oity Clark is hereby directed to cause due notice Gf
such meeting to be given by publishing a notice thereof pursuant to
law in the official newspaper of said City.

City to receive and consider bids for the ~ purchase of
$7,000 Refunding Bonds o~ the City, to be dated July ~t, 19ZO
to bear interest at kk~ not to exceed o~ p~r annum, payable
semi-annually, and ~o mature serially ~l,O00 on July l~t in each
of the years ~rom 19~ to 19~9, both inclusive.

(Note: This notice is t° be published twice, once in each week
for two successive weeks, the date of sale to be not less than
15 days after the date of the first publication. For instmnce if
this notice is published Thursday June 19th, it must be publishe(~
again June 26th and the first date on ~Jhich the sale could be
held would be July 4th, but as this is legal holiday, the first
would the the 5th of July which is Saturday so that it vould be
well to make it the first regular meeting on July 8th.)
