HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 87-58 RESOLUTION NO. 87-58 BEING A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE ]987 WORLD SERIES VICTORY BY THE HINNESOTA TWINS WHEREAS: In recognition of the 1987 World Series victory by the Minnesota Twins, the victory celebration scheduled for October 27th, and the proclamation of Governor Perpich granting non-essential state employees certain paid leave NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Columbia Heights hereby grants paid leave to non-essential full time employees and non-essential part time employees working twenty hours or more per week the hours of 12:00 noon to 4:45 p.m. on October 27, 1987. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that no employees shall be granted such leave except for those hours scheduled to be worked by that employee during the hours of 12:00 noon to 4:45 p.m. on October 27, 1987, and that employees will not be granted leave under this resolution if such employee's absence would adversely affect the provision of City services as decided in the sole discretion of the City Manager.
