HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 86-11RESOLUTION NO. 86-11 BEING A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CERTAIN CHARITABLE GAHBLING BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF COLUHBIA HEIGHTS that .gambling, as described in Hinn. Stat. ~326 shall be prohibited in ail bars and liquor establishments within the City which are licensed PUrsuant to ~5.501, J5.503, §5.504, §5.505, ~5..506, or §5.5o7 of the City Code unless: 1. The organization wishing to gamble obtains the permission from the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control Board, 2. The organization wishing to gamble obtains the permission of the Council of the City of Columbia Heights, 3. The organization wishing to gamble has been in existence in Columbia Heights for not less than ten (10) years, 4. The organization wishing to gamble is a bona fide club, 5. The organization wishing to gamble does not pay and the proprietor of the licensed premises does not receive rent in an amount in excess of one dollar ($1.00) per year or other remuneration for permitting the gambling activity or device to be located on the licensed premises.
