HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 86-21 RESOLUTION NO. 86-21 BEING A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS BE IT HE'REBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, ' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights by motion on .the 27th day of January, 1986 ordered notice of a hearing to be given to property owners, and WHEREAS, pursuant to a notice of hearing certain residents appeared at a Council Meeting on the 20th day of March, t986, and WHEREAS, the Council determines to proceed with this local improvement, a portion of the cost being defrayed by special assessmenst under Charter provisions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: 1. That the location and extent of such improvements is as follows: Miscellaneous surface repairs for the following concrete alleys: Madison Street N.E. - Monroe. Street N.E., 43rd Avenue N.E..- 44th Avenue N.E. 4th Street N.E. - 5th Street N.E., 42nd Avenue N.E. - 43rd Avenue N.E. 6th Street N.E. - 7th Street N.E., 42nd Avenue N.E. - 43rd Avenue N.E. Washington Street N.E. - Jefferson Street N.E., 42nd Avenue N.E. - 43rd Avenue N.E. Madison Street N.E. - Monroe Street N.E., 41st Avenue N.E. - 42nd Avenue N.E. 7th Street N.E. - Washington Street N.E., 4tst Avenue N.E. ~ 42nd Avenue N.E. Jefferson Street N.E. - Madison Street N.E., 40th Avenue N.E. - 41st Avenue N.E. 7th Street N.E. - Washington Street N.E., 40th Avenue N.E. - 41st Avenue N.E. California Street N.E. -Main Street N.E., 38th Avenue N.E. - 39th Avenue N.E. Central Avenue N.E. - Reservoir Boulevard N.E., Reservoir Boulevard N.E. - 39th Avenue N.E. Work would include the removal and replacement of damaged, deteriorated, settled and/or undermined concrete panels, mudjacking where necessary, the cleaning and filling of joints and cracks with bituminous sealant, and miscellaneous associated construction items. 2. That the materials to be used as as fol]ows: Concrete surfacing, concrete for mudjacking and bituminous crack and joint sealant. Resolution No. 86-21 page 2 That a careful estimate of the cost of the improvements has been made by the City Manager and the several lots and parce]s of ]and fronting upon and adjacent to such proposed improvements, which be deemed bene- fitted thereby, were proper]y notified of said hearings, 4. That the City Manager shall also list the names and owners of the several parcels so improved as nearly as can be ascertained. 5. That the City Manager shall proceed with taking of bids for the improve- ments or portions of the improvements as stated herein. 6. These improvements shall also be known as Project No. 811.
