HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 82-16R E S 0 L U T I 0 N NO. 82-16 BEING A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS BE tT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights by Motion on the 28th day of December, 1981 ordered notice of a hearing to be given to property owners, and WHEREAS, pursuant to a notice of hearing certain residents appeared at a Council Meeting on the 15th day of March, 1982, and WHEREAS, the Council determines to proceed with this local improvement~ a portion of the cost being defrayed by special assessments under Charter provisions. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: 1. That the location and extent of such improvements is as follows: Seal Coa~ing oi: all bituminous streets in the Southeast Quadrant of the City of Columbia Heights or that part of Columbia Heights bounded by 37th Avenue N.E. on the South, Stinson Boulevard on the East, 45[h Avenue N.E. on the. North, and Central Avenue ~l.E. on the \.~estl including ~he sealing of the bituminous part of the. above named boundary streets in 1982, and inc]uding State Aid roads in t983. The Project will not ~nclude: 41st Avenue N,E, from Central Avenue N.E. to LaBelle Park Stinson Boulevard between Si]ver Lake and 45th Avenue N,E, Arthur Place between 44th and 45th Avenues N,E. Leander Lane 39th Avenue N.E. from Tyter Street N.E. to Buchanan Street N.E. Polk Street N.E. between 37th and 39th Avenues N.E. 41st Avenue N.E. from Reservoir Boulevard to Stinson Boulevard 42nd Avenue N.E. from Central Avenue N.E, to Reservoir Bouievard Also inc]uded in the Project in 1982: 53rd Avenue N.E. between University Avenue N.E, and Centra~ Avenue 45th Avenue N.E. between Main Street and University Avenue N~E. Resolution Page 2 2. That the materials to be used are as follows: Miscellaneous concrete curb repair, bituminous patching, asphalt emulsion and seat coat aggregate. That a careful estimate of the cost of the improvements has been made by the City Manager and the several lots and parcels of land fronting upon and adjacent to such proposed improvements, which be deemed benefited thereby, were properly notified of said hearings, and 4. That the City Manager shall also list the names and owners of the several parcels so improved as nearly as can be ascertained. 5.
