Proceed with a study of the appropriate timing to properly platoon Central Avenue traffic, thereby adding sufficient spacing between g~ups of automobiles to allow pedestrians time to cross. 3. Erect flashing amber lights on the existing, or ~n over- Sized school crossing signs in advance of the intersection. 4. Consider increasing the time for pedestrians crossing in conjunction with the changes considered on the platooning of automobile traffic. $- Review the possibility of re-locating the pedestrian push bottons in such a way as to avoid the problem of snow embankments blocking access to said buttons. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Highway Department proceed with the foregoing study and changes as quickly as reasonably possible.
