LOCATED AT 3928 PO-LK ST. N.E. ~ COLUMBIA HEiGHTS~
MINNESOTA~ TO BE RAZEI1 AND REMOVED.
%VHEREAS, Storer Realty Company is the fee owner of a certain building located at
3928 Polk Street N.E., Columbia Heights, Minnesota, on the below legally described
property, and
%VI-DEREAS, that certain building is located on the rear part of the lot adjacent to the
alley, and
%VHEP~EAS, that building is best described as a dilapidated wood garage structure, and~
%VHEREAS, after receipt of numerous complaints, the Council of the City of Columbia
Heights ordered an inspection to be made of the above described premises, which
described premises was found to be inadequately maintained, dilapidated and in a
state of disrepair and constitutes a hazard to the public safety and health and does
violate the building code of the City of Columbia Heights, and
IA/HER_EAS, the Council of the City of Columbia Heights finds that the above described
property is inadequately maintained and that the building is dilapidated, that the
building is physically damaged, and that the building does constitute a hazard to the
public safety and health, and that it does not conform to the building code of the
City of Columbia Heights.
NO-VV THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED that the Storer Realty Company shall be ordered
to ra~e and remove that building on the property legally described as:
Lot Twenty-One (21), Block Two (2), %Valton's First Subdivision of Reservior
Hills, Anoka County, Minnesota.
This action is taken pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Annotated 463.15 to 463.26 on
the grounds that the said building is a hazardous building within the meaning~ of
that statute.
