HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 65-46 RE;~OLUTION ORDERING A CERTAIN BUILDING LOCATED AT 3916 ~.~LAIN STREET N.E., COLUMBIA I~iEIGHTS, MINNESOTA, TO BE P~SED AND REMOVED. WHEREAS, thc Scarp-Heilman Co., Cart C. Heater and Josephine Hebzynski, are the o~ners of a certain building located at 3916 [,lain Street N.E., Columbia Heights, Minnesota, and , WHEREAS, that building is best describe~ as a burned shed, and WHEREAS, after the receipt of nu~oerous complaints, the Council of the City of Columbia Heights, ordered an inspection to be made of the above described premises, which described premise was found to be burned end in a state of dis-repair, and that the building does violate existing zoning ordinances of the City of Columbia Heights, ~and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Columbia [{eights, finds that the above described building is dilapidated and is abandoned and not claimed by any owner, and that the building does constitute a hazard to the public safety and health; and that it does not conform to 'the building code of the City of Columbia Heights. 1/Oti_THEt~E_0~_.BE .IT RESOLVED, that the property o~ners shall be ordered to raze and remove the building on the property. This action is taken pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Annotated, 462.39 to 462.401 on hhe grounds that the said building is .a hazardous building within the meaning of that statute.
