LOCATED AT ~4 SUMMIT STREET NORTHEAST,
CC~JMB~A HEIGHTS, M~NNESOTA, TO BE
WHEREAS, Late Maurist Gottfrid Rothman and Luc~2' Ann Rothman, husband
and wife, are the o~ners of certain buildings located at 504 Summit
street Northeast. Col;~_m~ia Heights. M/~nesota, on ~he below legally
described property, and
WHEREAS, that buildings are best des~ribed &s a capped basement and shed.
and
WHEREAS, after the receipt of numerous complaints, the Council of the
City ~f Cotumbia Heights ordered an inspection to be made of the above
described premises0 which described premises was found to be inadequately
maintained, d~lapidated, abandoned and in a state of d~srepair, and Chat
rodents had been attracted to the buildings and that the buildings do
violate existing zoning ordinances of the City of Columbia Heights, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Columbia Heights finds that the above
described bulld/ngs are inadequately maintained! that the buildings are
d/lapidated and are abandoned~ that rodents are attracted to the buildings
and that the build/ngs do constitute a hazard to the publlc safety and
health~ and that the~ do not conform to the building code of the City of
Columbia Heights.
NOW THEREFOr, BE IT RESOLVED that Lars Maurist Gottfrld Rothman and L~cy
Ann Rothman, husband e~a wife, shall be ordered to raze and remove the
buildings on the property legally described as~
Lot Seventeen (17), and part of Lot Sixteen (16), described
ae follows~ A strip of land 5~ feet in width adjoining Lot 17
in Siock 66, the Easterly line of which strip of 1and is parallel
to ~he common line of Lots 16 and 17 in said Biock 66, Columbia
Heights Annex to M~nneapolis, Anoka County, Minnesota.
This action is taken pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Annotated, 462.39 to
462.401 on the grounds that ~he ~aid buildings are hazardous buildings
within the meaning of that statute.
