HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 61-33RESOLUTION WHE~AS: The City of Columbia Heights, did on the 12th day of June, 1961 , conduct and hold a General Municipal Election; and, WHEREAS: The City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 26th day of June, 1951 did canvas the re- turns and results of said Gen~ra~ MuniciPal ~le~ction; and, WH~AS: The follow~ng results were determined by said canvas of said General Municipal Election~ to-wit: Valid Ballots Cast ~ 2693 Void Ballots Cast Total Ballots Cast Votes for ~L~yor: ~- Warren A. Armstrong be and he hereby is declared to be elected Mayor of the City of Columbia Heigl~s for a period of two years commencing on the first Mon- day after the first Tuesday of July, 1961. That Robert King and Bruce Nawrocki be and they hereby are declared to be elected Councilmen for a period of four years con~encing the first Monday after the first Tuesday of July, 1961 That the City shall continue to operate its Municipal Liquor Stores, rather than issue private liquor licenses.
