HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 60-01RESOLUTION WHEREAS: A Hospital District has been duly formed and organized under Minnesota Statutes Annotated 447.31, and that said hospital district includes the following: Columbia Heights, Fridley, Coon Rapids, Blaine, Spring Lake Park, Circle Pines, Lexington, Moundsview, and, WHEREAS; The City of Columbia Heights is the most populous municip- ality in the hospital district, WHEREAS; The municipality being the most populous is designated under the afore mentioned statute with the responsibility for setting a date and the terms of office for the election of hospital board members, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that an election be held on the 12th day of April, 1960, within 'the said hospital district for the purpose of electing nine (9) members to the hospital board, one from each community and one being elected at large, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the board members be elected from the following municipalities for the term expiring December 31, 1960: Moundsview, Coon Rapids, Spring Lake Park, Circle Pines, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the board members elected from the following municipalities for the term expiring December 31, 1962: Lexington, Columbia Heights, Fridley, Blaine, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the board member elected at large shall serve for a term expiring December 31, 1962.
