HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 42-14': RESOLUTI -\ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLU~'~BIA .HEIGHTS HEREBY RESOLVES: WHEREAS: A petition for Local Improvement No./,~ , which consitutes the installing of water mains on Sixth Street N.E. between 50th and 51st Avenues, N.E., and the continuation of the wa~er main on Fifth Street N.E.., from its present terminal between 50th AVenue N.E. ~nd 51st Avenue N.E., to a point sixty (6Of) feet north of 51st Avenue N.E., and for Local Improve- ment No. /o ~ which constitutes the installation of curb and gutter and sur- facing with tarvia the streets above described; and, WHEREAS: Said petition was referred to the City Manager for his r~ort on the delinquency of taxes of ab~tttng properties; and, WHEREAS: The City Manager has reported to the City Council that the provis- ions of the Charter with respect to delinquency of taxes have been met: THE CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES: That it is advisable, expedient and necessary to undertake, and this Council does hereby determine to make the following local improvements, to-wit: Local Impro- vement No. /~ which consititues the installing of water mains on Sixth Street N.E., between 50th and 51st Avenues N.E., and the continuation of the Eater main on Fifth Street N.E. from its present terminal between 50th and 51st Avenues N.E., to a point sixty (60f) feet north of 51st Avenue N.E.; Local Improvement No./O& which con- stitutes the installation of curb and gutter and the surfacing of tarvia on the streets above described; THAT the City Manager be and he hereby is ordered to make a careful estimate of the costs of each of such local improvements, together with a list of the several lots and parcels of land fronting upon and adjacent to such proposed improvements which he deems benefited thereby, and the names of the owners of the several parcels as nearly as can be ascertained. That the City Manager be and he hereby is authorized and directed to prepare plans and specifications for making amid improvements and submit the s~-ur~e to this Council for approval.
