The City Manager nmde · short presentation on the series of events which led
up to this Councll meting. The City Council has previously passed a motlon
to sell twenty-five feet of the lot to Mr. Gary Travers, the next door resl-
dent at 1848 39th Avenue Northeast. This motion wes subJect to the approves
of a ID,split. The Planning and Zoning Commission had recofleended denial
of the lo, split. The decision was appealed to the City Council. The Assistant
City Engineer, Kathy Young, presented a survey of the property and 'all
Councilmembers had a chance to physlcally look at the property. Interested
parties were also present to Inspect the property and the City' survey.
Motion by Clerkln, second by Nawrocki to waive the reading of the resolution.
Roll call: All ayes

east twenty-seven (27) feet of the west thirty-three (33) feet of Lot 1 as
described on the resolution in detail. Roll call: All ayes

Lot one (I), except the west slx (6) feet thereof, Hart Lake Manor, according
to the duly recorded pta, thereof on file and of record in the office of
the Register of Deeds of Anoka County, Stlte of Minnesota.
THE DESCRIPTION HENCEFORTH TO BE:
I. East twenty-seven (27) feet of the west thirty-three (]3) feet of Lot one
(I), Hart Like Manor, according to the duly recorded plat thereof on file
end of record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Anoka County,
State of Minnesots.
2. Lot one (I), except the west thirty-three (33) feet thereof, Mart Lake
Manor, according to the duly recorded plat thereof on file and of record
in the office of the Register of Deeds of Anoka County, State of Minnesota.

Be it further resolved that speclal .assessments of record in the of rice of
the City of Columbia Nelghts as of this day, against the above described
property, in the amount of $ -0- be divided. Paid.
Any pending or future tssessments will be levied according to the new split

The Council passed the resolution with the understanding that the final
documents drafted by the Clty Attorney would indicate building restrictions
on the property sold as long as Mr.& Mrs. dohn M. Hansen owned and occupied
the property located at 1853 39th Avenue N.E.. Existing construction could
be maintained and repalred as needed, but there would be no new construction.
AVENUE WATER.HAIN. INS,.TALLATION
The Acting City Manager reported on the problems being experienced with
hltting rocks which was holding up the boring under Central Avenue.
The Actlng Clty Manager requested · change order for $6,700.00 to Increase
the pipe slze from 22" to 30'. The School Superintendent has been kept advised
of the situation as this project is being assessed to the $chooi District.

Motion by Ruettimann, second by Peterson to ratify the action of the Acting
City Manager and to authorize · change order for $6,700.00 on the watermain
construction project.
